
Daniel Shapiro, PhD; Independent Director
Dr. Shapiro is a Professor in the Faculty of Business Administration, Simon Fraser University, and Director of the CIBC Centre for Corporate Governance and Risk Management. He has published five books and numerous articles on such topics as corporate performance and strategy, corporate ownership and governance, foreign investment, and industrial structure.

John Campbell, MBA, CFA, CA, CPA; CIO & Portfolio Manager
Mr. Campbell has 24 years of experience in the investment industry which includes co-founding CWC Capital (a regional investment banking firm), working as a mergers and acquisitions specialist with The Jim Pattison Group (Canada’s third largest private corporation) and acting in various capacities, including portfolio manager and securities analyst, at a regional brokerage firm.

John Gariepy, MBA, CFA; Assistant Portfolio Manager
Mr. Gariepy joined Camlin’s predecessor firm in 2002. He spent the previous seven years at West Coast Energy as a senior treasury analyst where he was responsible for corporate funding, credit management, and pension investment. He also worked at Household Financial Canada where he managed the debt portfolio and was involved in asset-liability management.

Guy Wildeman, BA, CFA; Analyst
Mr. Wildeman joined Camlin in 2006. He spent the prior 8 years with Genus Capital Management, a Vancouver based investment counseling firm, as an investment analyst and equity trader.

Jay Yap, MBA, CMA; Research Associate and Operations Manager
Mr. Yap joined Camlin in 2005, His past experience includes 14 years in investment & financial management in Asia, where most recently he served as the Senior Investment Manager for Asia Life (M) Berhad in Malaysia.

Jack James, (BA), Portfolio Administrator
Mr. James joined Camlin in 2007. Jack attained his BA in Economics in 2004 at the University of Victoria. He spent the following two and a half years working in the administration department for Genus Capital Management, a Vancouver based investment counseling firm.
